{"id":1901,"date":"2013-06-25T19:52:06","date_gmt":"2013-06-26T02:52:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/specialtyz.com\/blog\/?p=1901"},"modified":"2013-09-15T13:19:44","modified_gmt":"2013-09-15T20:19:44","slug":"z32-stock-turbo-breather-upgrades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.specialtyz.com\/?p=1901","title":{"rendered":"Z32 Stock Turbo Breather Upgrades"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This Z32 TT came to us after not having run for a long time. \u00a0We went to work performing the required maintenance and upgrading along the way. \u00a0It WAS stock when it arrived and left a much happier Z.<\/p>\n<p>We replaced all the original fuel injectors as a couple were bad and used Nismo 740cc injectors as replacements (&#8220;JECs&#8221; or DW need not apply here). \u00a0While the plenum was off we replaced all seals and gaskets, along with bypassing the water hoses. \u00a0Throttle bodies were upgraded with larger Z1 units. \u00a0Intercooler piping was upgraded with Ash 2.5&#8243; units along with Massive Intercoolers and a Selin Dual POP Kit was added. \u00a0It retains the factory inlet piping and the factory exhaust manifolds. \u00a0SZ 3&#8243; 4-Bolt Down Pipes, SZ 3&#8243; to 2.5&#8243; Test Pipes, and SZ Dual Tip Resonated X-Pipe Catback replaces the entire factory exhaust. \u00a0SZ\\RPS Sport Street Clutch and SZ Flywheel were also installed to support the higher power output.<\/p>\n<p>A Blitz sbc-iD Spec-R Boost Controller was also installed to increase the boost.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/specialtyz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_4689.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1902\" alt=\"IMG_4689\" src=\"http:\/\/specialtyz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_4689.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.specialtyz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_4689.jpg 800w, https:\/\/blog.specialtyz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/IMG_4689-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Super clean and tidy while being a sleeper.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/specialtyz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/dyno.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1903\" alt=\"dyno\" src=\"http:\/\/specialtyz.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/dyno.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"539\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.specialtyz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/dyno.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.specialtyz.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/dyno-300x157.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We unfortunately could NOT get a bsaeline. \u00a0It came in misfiring and in terrible shape. \u00a0We achieved peak power at 6100 RPMs with 14 psi. \u00a0Peak torque of 411 ft\\lbs at 4500 RPM. \u00a0 91 octane fuel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Z32 TT came to us after not having run for a long time. \u00a0We went to work performing the required maintenance and upgrading along the way. \u00a0It WAS stock when it arrived and left a much happier Z.
