<\/a>Walking through Logan Int’l.<\/p>\nI can keep boring those of you with what we ate or when we used the bathroom but I’ll advance to the nitty gritty.<\/p>\n<\/a>In Tony’s DD vehicle fighting some of the Friday afternoon traffic.<\/p>\n<\/a>Sunoco gas station.\u00a0 We can only dream…….<\/p>\n<\/a>The game was just about to start too!<\/p>\n<\/a>Our view from the hotel room.\u00a0 Thanks again to Tony!\u00a0 Beautiful view of the Charles River.<\/p>\n<\/a>To the left we had a view of Harvard University.<\/p>\n<\/a>The following morning we woke up bright and early to meet Tony and Carlos at the entrance of the hotel.\u00a0 From there we headed to NEDyno which is about 45 minutes from the hotel.<\/p>\n<\/a>This gentleman who was standing outside felt it was necessary to boost Carlos’ ego a little more \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<\/a>Carlos’s Z is beautiful and one can eat off of the entire car.\u00a0 The under-body is spotless and his attention to detail is most impressive (golf clap).<\/p>\n<\/a>The one thing that would make it look better is yanking that (ugly) Borla Catback.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>Pretty under the bonnet as well.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>NEDyno our place of worship for the next two days.\u00a0 John the owner of NEDyno is an extremely nice and knowledgeable guy.\u00a0 Thanks again for letting us use your facilities and setting off your CO alarm a million times.<\/p>\n<\/a>Up first was Carlos in his stock turbo’ed beauty.\u00a0 Carlos had our 2.5″ DPs and TPs that lead to that Borla Catback I mentioned earlier.\u00a0 Along with some other “minor” bolt ons.\u00a0 Mod list.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>Up next was TJ.\u00a0 Mod List.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>Here’s TJ’s tune on meth using Snow Performance Boost Juice.\u00a0 TJ found out just how much pressure it takes to pop his weak link methanol lines off!<\/p>\n<\/a>Jeff’s 93 Tune.\u00a0 Mod List.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>Jeff on crack <\/span>meth.<\/p>\n<\/a>Jeff’s slick Aquamist install.<\/p>\n<\/a>Jeff on Q16.\u00a0 The addition of some larger intercooler piping would definitely help him.<\/p>\n<\/a>Silas found out the hard way that with even twin pumps a dirty fuel tank WILL cause fuel pressure drop.\u00a0 I apologize for the terrible picture.<\/p>\n<\/a>Silas’ 93 tune after the tank and pump socks were cleaned out.\u00a0 Mod list.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>Silas opted to us windshield wiper fluid.\u00a0 Even though it contains methanol it doesn’t make the same amount of power as one would with Boost Juice.\u00a0 We’ve seen this countless times.\u00a0 It doesn’t pay to be cheap.\u00a0 I think the wiper fluid was made in China distributed by some Canadian “company” \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<\/a>Greg and John discussing the quantum physics of turbos<\/p>\n<\/a>The following day Mr. Doug brought by his race Z32 and his brother’s beautiful road race ready Daytona.<\/p>\n<\/a>In all its glory is Doug’s race Z32.\u00a0 It would be interesting to see how light this thing weighs.\u00a0 That is a side exit exhaust you see in front of the rear tire.<\/p>\n<\/a>Still on stock I\\C piping with custom turbo inlet piping.<\/p>\n<\/a>A\\C and Radio users need not apply here.<\/p>\n<\/a>The elaborate fuel surge tank.<\/p>\n<\/a>Doug’s 93 Road Race Tune.\u00a0 Very conservatively tuned for the rigors of road racing.\u00a0 Doug runs JWT Sport 700s with our 3″ Down Pipes.\u00a0 After the down pipes its all custom exiting out the side.<\/p>\n<\/a>Doug’s 100 Octane Road Race Tune.\u00a0 Again a very conservative tune.<\/p>\n<\/a>Steve’s 93 Tune.\u00a0 Mod List.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>Sako’s 93 Tune.\u00a0 When inspecting Sako’s Z, we found that his intake manifold gasket was cracked and leaking.\u00a0 Sako and his brother pulled the manifold in no time and used silicone as a gasket instead.\u00a0 Sako was only running boost jets as his method for boost control.\u00a0 Mod list.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>Tony’s VG.\u00a0 Greg performing a kung fu move on it.<\/p>\n<\/a>Tony’s 93 Tune.\u00a0 Tony’s Z was abnormally pinging at low boost.\u00a0 Fuel pressures were good and everything checked out mechanically.\u00a0 Turns out Tony had put in some Redline Fuel System Cleaner in the tank.\u00a0 We drained the tank out and filled it up with a fresh tank of 93 octane and pinging problems went away.\u00a0 A word to the wise, do not drive hard on gas with fuel system cleaners.\u00a0 Mod list.<\/a><\/p>\n
